Marc Toma

Marc Toma was born in the Midwest, went to college at Princeton, graduate school at Berkeley and studied housing policy in Norway on a fellowship. He has worked his entire adult life as an architect, first for several years with one of his professors in San Francisco and for the last 21 years with his partner Karen Burks in Berkeley. He is licensed, certified, accredited and has received several honors and awards from his peers.

Marc coached his kids in their sports until they became better than him. Now he gets on planes to watch them play for their respective colleges. He walks with his dog Lyle, skis faster than he should, loves good food eaten with friends and travels as frequently as time allows.
