Hunt/Eylar Residence

This 4000 SF single family home was built to replace one lost in the 1991Berkeley/ Oakland Firestorm. The exceedingly steep site, the desire to reuse existing concrete piers, the clients’ program requirement for a pool, the need for fire resistance and sweeping views of the Bay led to a south facing, multi-leveled solution.
